generation, is researching the potential of building the Jewel
Valley Project, a wind and solar generation facility near
Boulevard. If built, the project would create new jobs, generate
tax revenues to fund County services, improve air quality
by offsetting greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce our
dependence on foreign oil.
